Press Release Body: http://thepoll.us is a website that gets people involved in current issues such as; Politics, Science & Technology, Literature, Philosophy, and Entertainment. This political site was launched in the Fall of 2007 to help promote discussion and debate regarding upcoming elections taking place in the US.
Although we have a wide variety of discussion topics, our main forums deal with trends for the upcoming 2008 election. The forum is for everybody. New members and new ideas are always welcome and we strongly encourage participation in our debates.
We also encourage our members to invite friends to join the forum. In our Debate Room our current threads include;
In the News, Candidates, Domestic Policy, Foreign Policy, Platforms, Current Administration, In the Media, and General. Our Off-Topic Discussion threads include; Science & Technology, Business, Entertainment & Media, Sports and Health, Philosophy, The Lounge, Classifieds, and Other. Both Democratic and Republican candidates sponsor our site, as well as Universities, Bands, Corporations, and Non-Profit organizations. We will also offer scholarship programs as well as prizes including; cash, concert tickets, apparel, and site recognition.
